Off top, all glory and honor to GOD! Without him I don't know where I'd be. They call me K Roc. I'm a gospel rap artist reppin Sanktifyde SouljAZ affiliated with Battleground City. Member of Life In Christ Community Church (102 E. Palmdale). Man I'm just here to serve and share the Word! I'm here to use the gifts GOD has blessed me with to chase His glory and be a light to the lost sheep! I ain't no where near perfect but I ain't where I was! Jesus came and pulled me out of the mess I was in! I'm just sharing the things I've experienced in my walk and what I've learned along the way. Started off makin music like a lot of these other brothas and sistas, all about me! Talkin bout money, cars, cloths, drugs, liquor and partying. And of course AZ! LOL. Not a lot of substance in my music though. Got to work with a lot of my favorite artist in the rap game, E 40, Kurupt, Devin The Dude, Messy Marv, San Quinn, Turf Talk, Taydaytay, Napoleon of The Outlawz, Juvenile and Yukmouth of The Luniz. Feelin like the man LOL! Had tracks with a lot of Tucson's finest, Swindoe, The Tu, IMP, Mo Scrilla, Mizzle, Blu Tha Young Vet, Young Ceasar, Mossberg, Majesty, Young Deuse, Lambo, Don P, Zay Mac, Klepto, Booda, kAZual, AZ Ron, Profit, Coldfront, Mary Jane, PYT, P Butta, 3 Grand, Rich Talent, Gangsta Spill, Rizm Loc, Slim, Repo, The Golden Child, Double Up, T, Diome, DuVall, Young Soul, Stuck Up, Bob Barker, Riplee, Big Cheese and I'm sure I'm forgetting others. The Lord was calling me but I wassn't tryin to here that! I was comfortable in my sin! I was popular. I had a good fan base! My mixtape "The Stash City Mangla", hosted by Dj Kay Slay was and is still poppin! My video "AZ" ft Swindoe and Blu was one of the most watched videos in AZ. God still callin but I stayed ignorin Him! Recorded a double album produced by XO called the Double Stack Compilation (Red Pill x Blue Pill) and recorded an album with Majesty of DFL called "Stash City". By this time I was goin to church a lot and really soakin up what God was tellin me. Started feelin convicted about the content of my music and the message I was puttin out there and decided to put the mic down. I felt compelled to rededicate my life to Christ and start over. I had a BBQ/rededication celebration where I burned all my lyrics and CD covers and threw away my music collection one CD at a time. Sounds crazy right? I know LOL. My cousin gave me some gospel rap artists albums months prior to all of this but I never gave them a chance. So I started listening to them and was blown away! Lecrae, Tedashii, Flame and Trip Lee just to name a few. I was shocked to find that I was really feelin their music! I prayed to GOD and asked Him if I should rap for Him and use my talent to spread the gospel. Shortly after that prayer I got my answer. I was learning about other gospel rap artists on Rapzilla.com, Dasouth.com and Westcoastfiya.com and came across Sevin of HOGMOB and Bizzle. Through their music GOD spoke to me more clearly than some of the other artists music did. Lyrics and topics flooded into my brain faster than I could write them down! Shortly after that I recorded my first solo gospel rap track "Know Him". After that I hit the gas and been smashin for GOD ever since! I got a chance to do a track with Sevin(shot out to Haloe) called "My Battles" ft B Riggs, for my upcoming album entitled "Fire Purified". I'm finishing that up along with my mixtape "Purified By Fire", and workin on a collaboration album with one of my best friends Prolifik called Sanktifyde SouljAZ.
